MYRTLE, MADRONE & ROSEWOOD
TABLE TOP
I built this table top for a pedestal supplied by the client. The small center circle is six book-matched segments of madrone burl. The six larger sections are of book-matched myrtle burl. They are separated by segments of Brazilian rosewood and have a narrow rosewood surround. The outer circle is solid myrtle.

Six velvet-lined drawers of madrone burl are built into the apron. They open using fingertip slots carved into their front bottom edges.
