FIREPLACE MANTEL WALL WITH FLANKING BOOKCASES
Many of the houses in Sweet Bottom Plantation are virtual replicas of ships' captains' houses that I've seen in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Architectural detail can help recreate a traditional look, and I built this piece to the architect's specifications. I took the photo after the piece was painted but before the floor was finished in this new house.
