WHITE LACQUERED MAPLE BALCONY AND STAIR RAIL
This curved and lacquered maple balcony and stair rail were built to an architect's specifications. Despite their ethereal look, the curves in the rail and balcony are NOT fragile. The conical newel post caps float on stainless steel ballbearings, which are just barely visible in this photo. The newel posts have inlays of purpleheart at the base.
